Historic center has limited vehicle access. Street parking available in outer areas. Hotels generally have parking.
Production vehicles restricted in pedestrianized historic center. Arrange permits through municipality for access. Use peripheral staging areas.
Central Arequipa is compact and walkable. Yanahuara viewpoint: 15 min by taxi. Colca Canyon: 3-4 hours by road (160km). Salinas Reserve en route to Colca. Consider overnight stays for Colca shoots - early morning condor viewing is essential. Altitude is manageable (2,335m) but Colca reaches 4,900m at passes.
