On Location

Cinema equipment for every Peru location

Filming across Peru demands gear that holds up in every condition. That runs from sea-level humidity on the Pacific coast to thin air on the Altiplano above Puno. From the wet heat of the Amazon near Iquitos, conditions swing to the dry cold of Andean nights around Cusco. We keep and test our inventory for that full site-level range. Our logistics team delivers to hubs in Lima, Arequipa, Trujillo, and Piura, plus remote spots reached by road or light aircraft.

Inventory prepped for Altiplano cold, Amazon humidity, and Lima coastal haze — gear that performs wherever your shot lives.

Cinema-Grade Gear packages bundle camera bodies, lenses, and support built for tough shoots. Complete Lighting Systems cover LED, HMI, and tungsten rigs, sized for interior sets and open-air locations alike. Professional Audio Gear handles everything from quiet Lima studios to tricky recording on wind-swept highland terrain. Grip kit and Vehicles & Rigs round out the inventory. They give you the muscle to mount cameras and move them safely across Peru's varied landscapes.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What equipment do you have available?

We pull from TSF, Panavision Lima, RVZ, and other major Peruvian rental houses. Today's stock includes the ARRI Alexa 35 and Mini LF, RED V-RAPTOR and Komodo, and the Sony VENICE 2 body. Lenses run the full range, from Zeiss Supreme to Cooke S7 to Angenieux zooms. Lighting spans ARRI SkyPanel X, M-series HMIs, and Astera tubes. For audio, we carry Lectrosonics, Wisycom, and Sound Devices. If it sees pro use, we can get it.

Do you provide technical support during the shoot?

We give phone support on every package, and our technicians come to set to build trickier rigs. Camera prep happens the day before. The AC team is ready for the shoot, and we never send untested gear. If a unit fails on the day, Lima rental houses can usually swap it same-day. Regional shoots are harder, so we pack backup gear for anything mission-critical.

Can you create custom equipment packages?

That's the default. DPs spec their camera packages, gaffers pull their lighting orders, and sound mixers pick their wireless frequencies. We coordinate across departments so it all works together. That means matching power draw to pack capacity, confirming lens coverage for the sensor, and keeping wireless audio and video from clashing. The package fits the show, not the other way around.

What is included with equipment rental?

Batteries come charged and tested, media cards arrive formatted, and cables and adapters cover whatever you plug into. Cases handle transport, and we add expendables like gels and diffusion on request. We keep backup camera bodies and backup audio transmitters ready. That gear saves the day when Murphy's Law strikes. Setup help and walkthroughs cover any crew new to a piece of kit.

How does pricing and insurance work?

Peruvian rental houses charge daily rates, with weekly discounts that kick in around the fourth or fifth day. We quote in USD, all-in apart from damage waivers. Gear needs production insurance, and most global policies work. Peruvian houses just need to see the certificate before releasing it. Deposits vary: basic packages need little or none, while high-value lenses and specialty items call for more.
