Complete lighting packages from Peruvian rental partners

Lighting kit rental in Peru is anchored in Lima by Audiovisual Project Perú, El Niño Rentals, Filmtek Perú, and Audiovisual Mendoza. Cinesphere Rentals, Tondero Rentals, Lima Cine, and Filmotechnik Perú cover the regional spread. Shoots hit that spread when the capital studio block jumps to a Sacred Valley exterior, a Cusco colonial interior, a Madre de Dios Amazon lodge, or a Paracas coastal series.

Across that network our team books the full LED, HMI, and tungsten stack. That includes ARRI SkyPanel S30, S60, S120, and S360 sets, Aputure 300x, 600x, and 1200d Pro, Nova P600c and the LS 600x family, and Litepanels Gemini 2x1 and 1x1 hard and soft. Astera Titan, Helios, and Hydra tube kits cover practical and run-and-gun work, backed by LiteGear LiteMat and S2 ribbons and Quasar Science crossfade sticks. On the HMI and tungsten side we carry ARRI M-series HMIs from M8 through M90, K5600 Joker2 800 and 1600, Alpha 4K/9K/18K Pars, Mole-Richardson Big Eye Tens and 18K Wendy units, and the full ARRI T-series Fresnel run.

Grip stock is staged right alongside the lighting kit, so the gaffer and key grip work from one inventory list. It covers Matthews and Avenger C-stands and combos, 4x4 through 20x20 frames, Magic Cloth, 1/4 and 1/2 grid, Ultrabounce, Griffolyn, and the duvetyn flag families.

Each package leaves the warehouse load-tested for the 220V/60Hz Lima and coastal mains. That differs from the neighbouring 50Hz countries, and it matters for any HMI ballast or LED driver crossing the Bolivia or Ecuador border. LED fixtures are colour-checked against the camera's white point, and SkyPanel and Aputure Master TC sync is verified across the stack. DMX/Art-Net/sACN dimmer curves are logged on the board, while Bates feeder, distro boxes, and Socapex multi-cable ship pre-coiled and labelled for the run order.

Lima-based gaffers and best boys travel with the kit to Sacred Valley, Cusco, Puno, and the Amazon lodges. They handle the load calculations and plan the local mains tie-in with the capital or city electricians.

For Sacred Valley, Manú, Tambopata, and Paracas exteriors where the mains can't carry the load, we stage silent Pramac and SDMO power packs imported under SUNAT ATA carnet. Prep also factors in the high-altitude HMI ballast challenge at Cusco 3,400m+. SERNANP, INC, Ministerio de Cultura, and DAFO forms move in parallel. A 24-hour replacement cycle out of Lima also keeps shoot days running clean when a SkyPanel driver fails on a Madre de Dios humidity day.

FAQ

Lighting Rental Expertise

What lighting equipment do you supply?

We source all pro lighting kit, including HMI (ARRI M-Series, Joker), LED (SkyPanel, Gemini, Aputure), tungsten (fresnels, practicals), and specialty fixtures. Complete grip packages come with stands, flags, diffusion, and rigging. Power distribution and dimming systems are ready to go.

How far in advance should I book lighting equipment?

We suggest booking standard packages 2-3 weeks ahead. Large lighting packages or specialty gear may need 4-6 weeks, especially during busy periods. Rush service is ready for urgent needs.

Can you provide gaffers and lighting crew?

Yes, we can arrange full lighting crews, including gaffers, best boys, electricians, and rigging teams, to work alongside your gear package. Crews know the exact gear in your rental.

Do you handle power requirements?

We set up full power solutions, including power-pack rental, distribution systems, tie-ins, and load calculations. Our team checks the power supply at your locations and recommends the right fit.

What about lighting for specific locations in Peru?

We know Peru's varied locations well, from colonial haciendas with tight power to remote exteriors that need power-pack support. Our team designs lighting packages built for each location's challenges.

Can you provide specialty lighting equipment?

Yes, we source specialty lighting, including balloon lights, Dino/Maxi fixtures, underwater lighting, architectural LED, and practical fixtures. Our team also works with specialty rental houses across Europe to track down specific gear.

Productions in Peru that need this often pair it with HMI & Tungsten Lights and Lighting Modifiers for full coverage. Most projects also draw on Power Equipment Rental and Camera Equipment Rental.
