SCENE 01 / GRIP EQUIPMENT
Grip Equipment
Professional grip equipment for your Peruvian production.
Grip kit is the mechanical hardware that supports, positions, and controls cameras and lighting on set. C-stands, flags, nets, silks, clamps, and rigging hardware let grip teams shape light and place cameras with care in any setting.
We source full grip packages from local suppliers, sized to your production's scale and needs. Our team checks that all rigging, mounting, and light-control hardware arrives in working order, so your grip department can run each setup with ease.

On Location
Lima-based grip packages with MovieBird cranes and Inca Trail mule-pack options
Grip packages for Peruvian shoots are built from the stock of Lima-based rental houses — Audiovisual Project Perú, Filmtek Perú, Cinesphere Rentals, El Niño Rentals and Tondero Rentals — then trucked or air-freighted to the unit base wherever the schedule lands. Our rental team stocks C-stands with arms and knuckles, combo stands, apple boxes and sandbags in working numbers, with flags, nets and silks scaling from pocket sizes up to 12x12 frames. 20x20 frames are on hand too, but on Andean access roads they mostly set the truck size, so we plan ahead.
Speed rail, scaffolding, pipe clamps and overhead rigging hardware back stage work in Lima and overhead setups on location. Grip carts arrive labelled and pre-ordered, so the Peruvian key grip can start the moment the truck doors open at base camp.
Peruvian locations test grip departments in their own ways. MovieBird or Pegasus crane work happens mainly in Lima studio settings. Chapman-Leonard dollies and high-end specialty cranes are rare in-country, so we arrange imports through SUNAT carnet handling on shoots that need them and plan the lead time at quote stage. Sacred Valley exteriors above 2,800m call for altitude-aware crew scheduling, since grip work at elevation slows down a lot. Wind off the Andean ridgelines also turns large frames into sails, much as Adriatic coastal shoots do.
Choquequirao and Inca Trail work runs through SERNANP archaeological permits with strict volume limits, so we suggest mule-pack-friendly grip kits — pocket-size flags, lightweight C-stands, collapsible silks — over the full studio package. Lima-based key grips travel with the gear, expendables sit at the depot for next-day resupply, and our coordinator stays on call through wrap.
