Monitor & Video Village
Professional on-set monitoring and video village solutions for film and TV production in Peru.
A video village is a central viewing station where directors, clients, and department heads watch live camera feeds during the shoot. Most builds pair large monitors with signal routing and wireless receivers. They also add a comfortable spot for live review and quick decisions.
We design and deliver video village builds shaped to your viewing needs and set layout. Our team handles monitor calibration, signal routing, and seating, so the village works and feels comfortable from the first day of principal photography.

Complete video village builds for Peruvian sets and locations
Video village builds in Peru run out of Audiovisual Project Perú, El Niño Rentals, Filmtek Perú, and Audiovisual Mendoza in Lima. Cinesphere Rentals, Tondero Rentals, and Stock Rental Peru stage the multi-monitor packages, weather tents, and seating that shoots need. A Sacred Valley feature, a Madre de Dios Amazon block, or a Paracas coastal exterior often runs an agency client viewing right beside the director's chair.
We stage 24-inch and 32-inch TVLogic LUM-241G and LUM-310X reference monitors for the director. The SmallHD 1703 P3 and the Sony BVM-HX310 OLED handle HDR-critical calls, while Boland MON-24 panels cover the client run. For bright exteriors, the SmallHD Cine 13 high-bright path takes the sun-loading on the Andean and coastal blocks.
Multi-feed setups route through Teradek Bolt 4K LT, Bolt 6 XT, and Bolt 1500 receivers, with up to 6 receivers off one transmitter. Decimator and AJA Mini-Converters bridge the legacy HDMI feeds. Pomfort Live Grade and SilverStack stations handle the on-set look running and dailies offload. The Peruvian Cinematographers community runs the live grade consult against the Cine Lab Lima or La Mecha colour pipeline.
Each village leaves the warehouse pre-built and labelled. Monitors ship calibrated against Rec. 709 or P3-D65 with the show LUT loaded. Fibre and SMPTE-rated cable runs come coiled for the long throws across the Lima sound stages or the Sacred Valley lodge sets. V-mount and Gold-mount battery banks arrive staged with the on-set charging rack. The communications tie-in to the Lectrosonics or Riedel intercom chain is pre-wired for director-to-set talkback.
Weather-covered tents with climate control handle the Madre de Dios Amazon humidity runs, the Sechura desert heat blocks, and the Sacred Valley altitude exteriors. On those blocks, Cusco mornings start at 5°C and Manú lodge afternoons push 95% humidity. Silica gel trays ride in each monitor case, and condensation-resistant covers come out for the rainy season, Nov-Apr. Silent Pramac power packs, imported under SUNAT ATA carnet, feed the village where the mains can't reach.
SERNANP heritage permits cover the Manú, Tambopata, and Paracas reserve days. INC and Ministerio de Cultura permits cover Machu Picchu and Ollantaytambo, and DAFO sign-off covers the Lima and Sacred Valley filming windows. The capital duty office runs a 24-hour swap cycle for failed panels, so a Cine 13 dying on a Cusco rooftop is back online by the next call sheet.
FAQ
Video Village Expertise
What does a complete video village setup include?
A complete video village has reference monitors (mostly 17-32 inch), a director's monitor station, and a client viewing area with comfortable seating. It also adds a weather-protection tent for exteriors, wireless video receivers, a playback system, and a tie-in to production communications. We scale the whole setup to match your production.
What wireless video systems do you provide?
We supply pro wireless video, including Teradek Bolt 4K systems, multi-camera receivers, and long-range transmission kits. Systems handle up to 4K resolution with very little delay. Our team tunes antenna placement for the challenges of your location.
Can you support remote client viewing?
Yes. We set up remote viewing, so agency and studio clients can watch the shoot from anywhere. Options include secure streaming, dedicated lines, and recorded dailies sent out with timecode reference.
How do you handle exterior video village setups?
For exterior shoots, we supply weather-covered tents with climate control, portable power packs, sun-readable monitors, and tidy cable management. Our team builds outdoor video villages that stay comfortable and keep working in many conditions.
What about playback capabilities?
We supply pro playback systems with instant replay, multi-take review, and frame-accurate control. Playback ties into your video village monitors and can add VFX reference overlay and script supervisor tools.
Can you calibrate monitors to our color pipeline?
Yes. We calibrate reference monitors to your color standards and can load your show LUT for an accurate on-set preview. This makes sure your video village displays show the look you intend, so creative calls stay true.
