Streaming platform delivery for Peruvian content
Streaming delivery is now the main way to release top Peruvian content. Each platform that Peruvian shoots reach keeps its own tech specs, ingest workflow, and QC threshold. Netflix Latin America sets out the most detailed rules. It needs IMF SMPTE 2067 packages with JPEG 2000 essence, ACES colour management, and platform-specific HDR PQ profiles for Dolby Vision titles.
Disney+ LATAM and Amazon Prime Video LATAM run their own IMF variants. Apple TV+ adds Dolby Atmos audio needs for its top titles. Movistar Play, run locally by Telefónica del Perú, and Claro Video, América Móvil's Peruvian OTT, accept tailored mezzanine masters tuned to South American bandwidth profiles. Our delivery team works through Cinesphere DI Lima and partner finishing houses. We hold current spec sheets for each platform, so each file clears tech QC on the first pass rather than facing rejections that miss launch windows.
Master preparation starts with the Dolby Vision-graded HDR pass from the Cinesphere DI room, Peru's only Dolby Vision-certified site. An SDR trim pass is also made for fallback delivery. IMF packages are then built with CPL, OPL, and supplemental composition playlists for multi-language and multi-version releases. These cover dubbed Spanish, first-language stems, Quechua-language tracks where the production has Andean dialogue, and SRT, TTML, or IMSC subtitle sidecars for accessibility.
Forced narrative subtitles cover non-Spanish dialogue scenes, which are common in shoots filmed in Quechua or Aymara areas around Cusco, Puno, or Ayacucho. We keep them apart from the full subtitle tracks, per each platform's spec. Each delivery package ships with checksum manifests, NetFlix Asset Hub or Amazon DMA upload manifests where relevant, and a written compliance sheet. That lets the streaming partner ingest, check, and schedule the release with no hold-ups.
FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Which streaming platforms do you deliver to?
We deliver to all major streaming platforms, including Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, Apple TV+, HBO Max, Hulu, and local services worldwide. Each one has its own specs, and our team knows them all. That know-how gets your content accepted smoothly.
Do you create IMF packages?
Yes, we create Interoperable Master Format (IMF) packages, which many streaming platforms now need. IMF supports easy version control, multi-language delivery, and simpler workflows. Our team handles the full IMF build, including CPL assembly and supplemental packages.
Can you deliver HDR content?
We fully support HDR workflows, including HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision. Our grading and delivery pipeline keeps HDR quality from start to finish. When a platform needs both, we can also make SDR versions from the HDR masters.
How do you handle multi-language deliveries?
We handle complex multi-language deliveries. These cover dubbed audio tracks, subtitle files in many formats (SRT, TTML, WebVTT), and forced narrative subtitles. Our team makes sure every local element syncs correctly and meets each platform's format needs.
