SCENE 01 / AERIAL DRONE SERVICES
Aerial Drone Services
Licensed drone operators delivering cinematic aerial footage across Peru.
Aerial drone services deliver sweeping overhead views across Peru's remarkable terrain, from the peaks of the Andes to the Amazon basin. Drones give cost-effective coverage for establishing shots, landscape reveals, and any production that needs elevated angles over Peru's stunning scenery.
We run fully licensed drone services that meet Peruvian DGAC rules. Our team handles RPAS sign-ups, flight permits, and planning with CORPAC air traffic control, so your production captures stunning aerial footage safely and legally at every location, including sensitive heritage sites.

DGAC-licensed RPAS operators from the Andes to the Amazon
Aerial drone services in Peru cover it all, from sweeping reveals across the Cusco terraces, the Sacred Valley and Vinicunca's Rainbow Mountain to coastal flights along the Paracas reserve, the Pan-American desert and Máncora's surf coast. Our pilots hold DGAC commercial RPAS certification under Resolución Directoral N° 1086-2015 — the Peruvian remotely piloted aircraft system framework. Operations are registered through the Dirección General de Aeronáutica Civil, with CORPAC airspace planning for any flight path that crosses Jorge Chávez or regional airport ways.
Gear runs from the DJI Inspire 3, Mavic 3 Pro Cine and Matrice 30 up to Freefly Alta X heavy-lift rigs carrying ARRI Alexa Mini LF and RED Komodo bodies. Our aerial DPs come from the crews that flew Llosa's magical-realist features, the Wiñaypacha Andean unit work and the recent PromPerú destination films. FPV pilots trained on Lima motocross and rally circuits take on proximity work for automotive brand films and tourism content. Our coordinators tap the wider Peruvian operator pool that serves the Find, BBC and National Geographic Amazon units based out of Puerto Maldonado and Iquitos. Dry season May through October stays the best flight window across the highlands.
Peruvian airspace carries many regulatory layers that shape each flight plan. Machu Picchu is largely closed to ground-level drone work, with tight exceptions secured through the Instituto Nacional de Cultura and SERNANP for the surrounding sanctuary. The Nazca Lines allow drone-only media access, since heritage rules ban ground-level filming outright. Chan Chan, Caral and Kuelap each carry their own INC heritage protocols. SERNANP authorisation governs Manú, Tambopata and Paracas reserve work, and MTC and SUNAT carnet records are handled for imported aerial cinema rigs.
We manage the DGAC submissions, the CORPAC notifications, and the planning with Lima Jorge Chávez control where flight paths cross way corridors. Night drone operations, FPV chase sequences through Lima's Barranco and Miraflores districts, and multi-drone activations for the Mistura food festival and Lima Fashion Week all sit within the service line. DAFO and Ministerio de Cultura forms run in parallel for qualifying shoots, IGV at 18% applies to local invoicing, and MINCETUR destination-filming support is secured where the brief aligns with PromPerú goals.
FAQ
Aerial Cinematography Expertise
What drone certifications do your pilots have?
All our pilots hold the Peruvian aviation authority certifications needed for commercial drone work. Many also carry ratings from other aviation authorities. We keep full records, including flight logs, insurance, and operating manuals.
Can you fly drones in cities like Lima?
Urban drone flying in Peru needs special sign-off. Lima has large off-limits airspace, but we can get permits for set locations with advance notice. Our team handles all regulatory filings and coordinates with authorities.
What cameras can you mount on drones?
We fly everything from built-in camera systems like the DJI Inspire and Mavic lines to heavy-lift platforms carrying RED, ARRI Mini, and other cinema cameras. We then match the platform to your image quality and shot complexity.
Do you provide FPV drone services?
Yes, our skilled FPV pilots handle dynamic shots, including chase sequences, indoor flying, and high-speed proximity work. The FPV team flies purpose-built drones with cinema-quality cameras for broadcast-ready footage.
What about night aerial filming?
We're cleared for night drone work with proper lighting systems, added safety protocols, and the right certifications. Night flying needs extra planning and sign-off, so please raise your needs early.
How far in advance should we book?
Standard aerial shoots can often be booked with 1-2 weeks notice. Complex operations that need special sign-off, off-limits airspace access, or multi-drone setups may take 3-4 weeks for planning and approval.
