Here is how this works in practice. Our post-prod supervisors come out of those rooms and know the colourists, VFX leads and sound designers by name.

Here is the short of it. They run multi-vendor pipelines that span edit, colour, VFX, sound edit, ADR and final mix, manage 4K and HDR finishing for streaming and broadcast, supervise Dolby surround mix stages in Lima, and set up DCP mastering for theatrical release across the Peruvian and broader Latin American distribution chain. Schedules are written against picture-lock dates that have to land cleanly inside the DAFO Ley 26370 grant and tax-credit certification workflow with the Ministerio de Cultura so that qualifying post-prod spend documents through to the final certification file from start to finish across the production.

Here is the breakdown. Day to day the supervisor sits at the centre of the data flow. Our post supervisors set up dailies and review sessions between Lima edit rooms and the independent post houses, manage shot tracking, version control and quality control across VFX vendors and freelance compositors, supervise sound edit and ADR sessions at the capital mix stages, and hold the schedule against the final mix, online conform, HDR colour grade and SDR trim pass.

Here is what that looks like on the ground. Broadcast masters go out to América Televisión, Latina, ATV and the Peruvian network chain, plus regional LATAM TV networks; DCPs go to the Peruvian theatrical chain via Cineplanet, Cinemark and UVK and to global distributors via Ibermedia-supported routes; streaming-specific deliverables go to Netflix LATAM, Disney+ LATAM, Amazon Prime LATAM, Apple TV+ and the sites with their own QC specs and IMF packaging.

Here is how the picture comes together. Where the production carries an Ibermedia or bilateral co-production treaty plan — the 1989 Latin American Co-Production Agreement plus the agreements with Argentina, Spain, Brazil, Mexico and Colombia — the supervisor structures the post spend allocation to satisfy both the DAFO certification and the points test that the Ministerio de Cultura reviews on final delivery, with cloud-based remote joint work tools bridging global partners and IGV-invoiced budgets in PEN soles closing back to the production accountant.
