Reliable PAs and runners keeping your Peruvian production running smoothly from Lima to Cusco.
Film shoots in Peru need PAs who know the local scene, from running Lima's production setup to arranging logistics in Cusco and beyond. They handle it all, from handing out call sheets and managing gear to setting up extras and running errands across the country.
We link you with dependable production assistants through NeedAFixer's Peru network. Our PAs bring hands-on experience from features, commercials, and series shot across Lima, Cusco, Arequipa, and beyond. Each PA turns up ready to back your crew with local know-how, pro discipline, and the energy that long shooting days need.

Bilingual Peruvian PAs ready for coast, Andes, and Amazon
The Peruvian production-assistant ladder runs through a tight Lima training pipeline. It covers the PUCP and Universidad de Lima film programmes, Toulouse Lautrec audiovisual, IPP Lima, and the workshop tracks at Tondero, Big Bang, Cinesphere, Inca Producciones and Audiovisual Project Perú. Our PAs come from that ladder.
Our PAs have crewed on Asu Mare 1 and 2 and much of today's Peruvian theatrical slate. They have worked the Netflix LATAM and Disney+ LATAM originals routing through Lima, plus the Discovery Channel, National Geographic and BBC natural-history units in Manú, Tambopata, Paracas and Pacaya-Samiria. They also cover the commercial and edit shoots that move between the capital's Miraflores and Barranco districts, Cusco's centro histórico, the Sacred Valley and Arequipa's white sillar centre.
Set PAs handle lock-ups, crowd control, talent escort, walkie distribution and the daily call-sheet flow. Office PAs run production communications, filing, Trabajador Temporal visa forms through Migraciones, and the SUNAFIL, SCTR and EsSalud records that land on the line producer's desk. Runners and drivers cover gear pickups, ATA Carnet moves at Jorge Chávez Global, airport transfers to Cusco and Iquitos, and the last-minute errands the shooting schedule cannot absorb on its own.
The role works in Peru because our PAs are truly bilingual and at ease across the regions. They speak English with global directors and HODs while keeping each Peruvian vendor, city office, INC contact, SERNANP ranger, DGAC officer and SUNAFIL inspector moving in Spanish. On Andean village days, their Quechua and Aymara support is the difference between a workable shoot and a closed door.
They know Lima's gear houses and the studio capacity at the Tondero, Big Bang and Cinesphere bases, the Cusco regional production network, and the Iquitos Amazon supply chain. They also handle the capital traffic grid, the city–Sacred Valley road corridor, and the river-transport logistics out of Iquitos and Yurimaguas without losing the shooting day.
We staff planned shoots one to two weeks ahead and can often fill last-minute roles within 24 to 48 hours. We match experience to need, with feature-credited PAs on key set roles and entry-level PUCP and IPP-track talent on general support. The flexible 12-to-14-hour day under Peru's non-union model, plus the 80% Peruvian workforce ratio, keeps the production compliant every day.

FAQ
PA Department Expertise
What do production assistants do on a Peruvian set?
PAs give key support across every part of production, from set lockups and talent escort to gear handling and office admin. In Peru, they also help with local logistics, vendor relationships, and location needs that global crews may not know.
Do your PAs speak English?
Yes, we give bilingual PAs fluent in both English and Spanish for global shoots. They talk easily with your crew while handling local vendors, authorities, and any situation that needs Spanish.
What are typical working hours for PAs in Peru?
Shooting days in Peru run 12 to 14 hours with no union limits, which gives you scheduling freedom. The altitude in Cusco and mountain sites needs time to acclimatize. Amazon shoots need a weather-based schedule.
How quickly can you staff PAs?
For planned shoots, we suggest booking 1 to 2 weeks ahead. Still, we keep ties with reliable PAs across Peru for last-minute needs, and we can often staff extra roles within 24 to 48 hours.
Do you provide overnight or weekend PAs?
Yes, we staff PAs for every schedule, including all-night shoots, weekend work, and split days. Peruvian labor law asks employers to keep an 80% local workforce ratio. There are no film-specific unions, so shooting days can flex to 12 to 14 hours.
What experience do your PAs have?
Our PA roster runs from entry-level pros eager to learn to skilled PAs with many feature credits on Peruvian shoots. We match experience to your needs, so key roles get skilled PAs while general support can grow newer talent.
