      Why Choose Our PAs

      Quick & Reliable

Efficient and quick, our PAs know Lima, Cusco, and Arequipa inside out. They anticipate needs and act fast across Peru's production settings.

      🎯

      Local Production Experts

Self-starters on our roster handle the tough logistics of Peruvian shoots. This covers extreme altitude at Cusco and Machu Picchu, tropical Amazon conditions, seismic risk, and remote location logistics, plus the specific demands of the local film industry.

      🚗

      Licensed Drivers

Our PAs hold valid local licences and know Peru's road network well. This lets them run gear quickly between studios, locations, and vendor sites.

      🌍

      Spanish and English-speaking Support

Our Spanish and English-speaking PAs bridge the gap between global crews and local vendors, authorities, and studio staff across Peru.

      Production Support Across Peru

Filming in Peru presents specific operational challenges: local regulations, location identification, and logistics coordination. Our experienced team operates from Lima and the surrounding Lima Metropolitan Area, providing support and expertise required for project completion across Peru.

We execute projects for commercials, stills, branded content, and video production. Peru's Law No. 32309 creates the CIPA, a transferable audiovisual tax credit issued by the Ministry of Economy and Finance that can reduce a producer's income tax or VAT by up to 50%. It becomes operational once implementing regulations are finalised, and is complemented by the Ministry of Culture's competitive grant program.

Our crew maintains fluency in English and Spanish. We deliver both remote and on-site client support. Filming in Peru offers a wide variety of landscapes, including the colonial elegance of Lima, the charm of the Andean countryside, Cusco's highland terraces and coffee farms, the peaks of the Cordillera Blanca, and the Pacific coastline, offering filmmakers diverse and visually stunning backdrops.

      On Location

Lima PAs and bilingual runners across coast, Andes and Amazon sets

Set PAs and runners on our Peru roster come up through the Lima production ladder. That ladder is fed by PUCP's Facultad de Ciencias y Artes de la Comunicación, the Universidad de Lima film programme, the Toulouse Lautrec audiovisual school, and IPP Lima. Newer crew now join from DAFO-supported workshops at the Ministerio de Cultura and from Lima Production Alliance training cohorts. These cohorts mirror the structured MOME-style intern pipelines elsewhere in Latin America.

They got their start on Tondero features, Cinesphere shoots, Audiovisual Project Perú series, and Big Bang Films campaigns. From there they moved into the Netflix Latin America and Amazon Studios commissions that arrive under Ley 26370 and Ibermedia.

They know the layout of Lima's production cluster across Miraflores, Barranco, and San Isidro. Our runners also know the studios and storage warehouses out toward Lurín, the Sacred Valley logistics that radiate from Cusco's Plaza de Armas, and the Amazon launch points at Iquitos and Puerto Maldonado. Each one holds a valid Peruvian licence and knows the capital's tricky one-way grid, the Pan-American Highway, and the Carretera Central up to Huancayo and the valley.

On a working day, our Peruvian runners move gear between Lima rental houses and active sets. They hand out call sheets in Spanish and English and manage walkie-talkie traffic alongside the AD team. They run craft services with Peruvian café pasado, chicha morada, and quinoa-based breakfasts staged from early call. The team also handles wardrobe pickups, lock-ups, basecamp setup, and end-of-day breakdown.

Bilingual Spanish-Quechua and Spanish-Aymara PAs are key for Andean village shoots. These take place in the Sacred Valley, the Colca Canyon, and Lake Titicaca. There, local community liaison and elder input drive access permissions in ways that Spanish-only runners cannot match.

They know the EsSalud and SCTR workplace insurance regime that covers them on set under Ley 29783. They also know the Ministerio de Trabajo rules on late hours and rest periods. Our runners handle the real demands of shooting through coastal garúa fog, Andean altitude at Cusco and beyond 4,500 metres, the November to March highland rainy season, and the heat and humidity of the Amazon basin around Iquitos. We match runners to shoots by language profile, geographic know-how, and prior credits across coastal, Andean, and Amazon shoots.

      FAQ

      Frequently Asked Questions

What does a runner or set PA do?

A runner, also called a set production assistant (PA), gives key support to all departments on a film set. They hand out call sheets, run errands, manage walkies, help with crowd control, and keep the set running smoothly. They are often the first to arrive and the last to leave.

What skills should a runner or set PA have?

In Peru, a runner needs reliability, initiative, a valid driver's licence, and strong communication skills. Spanish and English-speaking ability matters too, along with knowing local production rules and vendor networks. Both help them support shoots well.

What types of productions need runners or set PAs?

Every professional production gains from runners and set PAs. Feature films, television series, commercials, and streaming content all rely on them. These shoots span Lima, Cusco, Arequipa, and other spots in Peru, where PAs keep daily work running smoothly.

How do you match runners and set PAs to my production?

We check your production's size, locations, daily needs, and language needs. Then we recommend reliable PAs from our Peru network who have worked in your kind of shooting settings.
