Here is how this works in practice. LED is now the default lighting layer on Peruvian feature, commercial and streamer drama sets, and the inventory at Lima rental houses reflects that. Our LED packages are sourced through Audiovisual Project Perú, El Niño Rentals and Filmtek Perú — the electric departments that supply Tondero, Cinesphere and DAFO-backed Peruvian productions — and built around fixtures the capital-based gaffers specify by name.

Here is the short of it. ARRI SkyPanel S60 and S30 sit in soft-panel positions, Aputure 600d and 1200d cover harder COB throws, Litepanels Gemini and Mole-Richardson Vari-Lite extend the cinema-LED range, and Astera Titan tubes plus Helios and Hydra panels handle the pixel-mapped and practical work increasingly used on América Televisión, Latina and global co-productions shooting through DAFO and Ministerio de Cultura rebates. ARRI Orbiter fills the gap when the DP wants the cleanest skin tones and highest TLCI numbers for Netflix LatAm, Disney+ and Prime Video deliveries against the IGV 18% tax-recovery window.

Here is the breakdown. Control and power infrastructure is treated as part of the package, not an afterthought. DMX over wired and wireless (LumenRadio CRMX), proprietary apps for ARRI, Aputure and Astera fixtures, and full lighting consoles are named for productions running pixel-mapped looks, cyclorama work at Tondero stages, or greenscreen at Lima studio floors. Battery-powered LED kits run on V-mount and Gold-mount packs for shoots inside Cusco colonial-church interiors, Machu Picchu citadel access windows and Amazon lodges where generator deployment is impractical or restricted by INC and SERNANP.

Here is what that looks like on the ground. Lima-based gaffers fluent in current LED workflow — DMX patching, wireless commissioning, LUT-matched colour running against the DP's monitor — are bookable alongside the gear, and packages account for the 10-15% performance derating at Cusco and Sacred Valley altitudes that catches lighting riggers more familiar with sea-level inventories off guard.
