SCENE 01 / WIRELESS SYSTEMS

Wireless Systems

Complete wireless infrastructure for your Peruvian production.

Scroll

Wireless communication and audio systems keep production teams connected and sound flowing without cables. They cover wireless intercoms, IFB feeds, audio hops, and communication networks. These systems are vital when setting up large crews across wide sets or locations.

We supply wireless system packages built for your production's communication and audio needs. Our team handles frequency planning and gear testing to prevent interference. That gives you smooth crew communication and reliable audio across your shoot.

On Location

Integrated wireless infrastructure for Peruvian productions

Wireless systems on a Peruvian production go well beyond the boom and lav chain. They cover wireless video links between A-camera and video village, plus wireless lens control for the focus puller running a remote head on a Ronin 2. They also carry IFB feeds to the director and script supervisor, intercom networks across grip and electric, and the audio hops that move multitrack from the cart to a producer's bag-rig.

Our inventory runs Teradek Bolt 4K and Vaxis Storm wireless video transmitters, sourced through Audiovisual Project Perú and Cinesphere Rentals. It also holds Preston FIZ and ARRI WCU-4 lens control systems on their own 2.4 GHz range, plus Tilta Nucleus-M for smaller commercial and documentary jobs out of Lima or Cusco. Intercom runs on Riedel Bolero and Clear-Com FreeSpeak II for ensemble drama. That matters when AD communications must cover a multi-block Centro Histórico night exterior in the capital, or a Sacred Valley unit base spread across many sets.

Our team handles MTC frequency licensing. Peru's Ministerio de Transportes y Comunicaciones needs permits for the high-power wireless video and dense intercom counts that global shoots bring. Before day one, our team runs a full RF survey of each shoot location. Frequency allocation is then logged across every department: wireless audio in the MTC-licensed bands, wireless video on 5 GHz with regional channel selection, lens control on 2.4 GHz set against any WiFi setup, and intercom on the dedicated DECT or 1.9 GHz allocations.

RF tracking continues through the shoot day. On-call technicians re-plan on the fly when a Lima broadcast neighbour fires up a rival signal mid-take. The same coordinator manages the Manú jungle schedules, the Cusco altitude shoots, and the capital coastal shoots across the run.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What wireless systems do you coordinate?

We handle all production wireless systems, including microphones, IFB/IEM, wireless video, lens control, intercom, and any other RF gear. Full planning keeps every system working together without interference.

How do you handle frequency allocation?

We scan your locations, find clean frequencies within Peru's legal range, and assign channels to every department. Our team also shares frequency records and helps each department program their gear.

What about wireless video systems?

We supply Teradek Bolt, Vaxis Storm, and other wireless video systems for video village feeds. These give zero-latency transmission, so directors and clients can monitor without cables.

Do you provide wireless lens control?

Yes, we supply wireless follow focus systems including Preston FIZ, ARRI WCU-4, and Tilta Nucleus. Our team makes sure lens control frequencies line up with the other wireless systems.

What about Peruvian RF regulations?

We know Peruvian frequency rules well and keep all wireless gear within legal range. Our team can advise on the permits high-power systems need.

Can you support large-scale productions?

Yes, we often support shoots with dozens of wireless channels across many departments. Complex shoots gain the most from full RF planning.

Productions in Peru that need this often pair it with Wireless Microphone Systems, Location Sound Packages, and Boom Microphones for full coverage. Most projects also draw on Communication Systems and Wireless Audio Systems.
